Hello Usha- I will post the second part two which is even more interesting as he wants to know why people hate each other for physiological differences and of faith. He then talked to me about the Indo-China war and worried that talking of it may not have annoyed me.

Hmm..China does face some terrorism and separatist calls with some Muslim dominated areas I believe. I didn't find him any different from an educated Indian Muslim city-born kid in conversation with a Pakistani and trying to explain to him that there is not much discrimination against Muslims in India as the Paki believes ... :D

Yes you are right WS- He is not different from any Indian Muslim educated child and I believe that all at that age irrespective of their cast, race or religion they are all upright, nationalist having respect for people of other region, religion and faith. It's only the cunning people, who misguide them and sow seeds of hatred in them.

I was very impressed by what he told me and that's why I wanted to share my chat with him with others here at Sulekha. Surprisingly, even if religion is not the issue in China we have seen quite an uprising by ethnic Muslim Chinese in injiang and their demand is just not 'Autonomy'
