New high-speed railway starts operation in SW China

A new high-speed railway connecting Anshun and Liupanshui in southwest China's Guizhou Province has been put into operation

一条连接中国西南部贵州省安顺和六盘水的新高速铁路已经投入运营

安六高铁于2015年底开工建设，线路全长125公里，位于贵州省西部安顺市、六盘水市境内，从沪(上海)昆(云南昆明)高铁安顺西站引出，向西经六盘水市的六枝特区，于六盘水枢纽水城车站接轨后利用既有沪昆铁路引入六盘水站。安六高铁为国家I级(中国国家铁路一等级别)双线客运专线，桥隧总长89km，桥隧比达74.2%。
