The coronavirus took hold slowly in India, but six months after its first confirmed infection it has overtaken Russia to record the world's third largest caseload.

With the world's second-largest population, much of which lives packed into cities, the country was perhaps always destined to become a global hotspot.

Obesity rate and older people are most vulnerable in every country for this corona virus. Obesity rate in India is 3.5percent where as obesity rate in the USA is 35percent and also older people percentage in demographics in India is far lower. Hope people in general will wake up to the reality that more meat consumption can only lead more obesity but not more muscles.

if the lockdown had happened in Jan end, or feb start, instead if buildings walls and bringing trump and president. india would have saved itself. now late loxk down, washing hands after 1.5 months of loxk down will make india no.1 in affected countries soon
