Nothing. ‘Every Indian’ gets told nothing about China.

印度人对中国都是一无所知。

India is Anglicizing fast so there is growing number of Indian followers of International media - BBC, CNN, New York times, etc.

印度英语化的速度很快，越来越多的印度人关注国际媒体，比如BBC、CNN、纽约时报等。

So there is nothing we are particularly told about China. Well may be in schools teachers may tell you stories about China - their manufacturing sector, infrastructure development, etc and the experience will vary from teacher to teacher.

I think I have an answer to this question….

I had been to an island in China ,near quingtao in 2010. It was a big island with two shipyards and few bars,strip joints,hotel rooms,shops etc. All those establishments were for the seafarer who came to the island on ships. They used to stay there for a month or so for the ship repairs and spend money in everything . Every daily groceries a d stores had to be brought by boats from main island.

我想我对这个问题有答案。我曾在2010年去过中国青岛市附近的一个岛屿。那是一个大岛，有两个造船厂，还有一些酒吧、脱衣舞夜总会、酒店和商店等。所有这些设施都是为乘船来岛上的海员准备的。他们常常在那里呆上一个月左右，修理船只，购物。每一个日用杂货和商品都必须用船从主岛运来。

Then I visited the same island in 2014, and I couldn't believe myself the transformation in that island.it was totally changed .they had a big boat jetty to get connected to main island. Now there are two big cities in that island with schools,colleges, big hotels shop malls, massage parlour. Even they had a casino , water generation plant and power generation plant . I heard the power plant was some sort of hybrid .I am not sure that's solar/coal/nuclear or what ever…but that's the development they had in four years .

现在岛上有两个大城市，有学校、大学、大旅馆、购物中心和按摩院。甚至还有赌场，水电厂和发电厂

And then I had visited Andaman island .we have a small airport there controlled by defence . The sea transportation is worst. Population is nearly 4 lakh and the island is powered by diesel generators. All the food has to come from main land .if the sea is rough or stormy, the daily grocery price goes for a rocket ride. I hope that island too will develop some day …
