Kool Aid you’re correct. We too ought to have it but there are still too many older generation people that insist on driving their slow cars for a long trip. Younger enlightened Americans are more accepting of higher transportation technologies including high speed rail.

Our roads are in shitty condition and we haven't built any new major interstate freeways in decades. What does that tell you? Does the word stagnation come to mind?
