China has always invented things that we take for granted daily. Paper money is originally from China and so is gun powder among many other things. It’s true that China had to catch up to the West in the past decades but they’re already doing their own thing now. Most people criticising China don’t realise that they are criticising a country with more than 5000 years of history. I repeat: 5000!! Both China and India have always been the leaders of the world back then and it’s only due to Western colonisation that these two countries suffered so much. Right now, though, these Western countries are trying to pit India against China as it’s much easier to divide and conquer than having to fight these two countries both at the same time. Sad but true.

I can say China is evolved to a cashless country nowadays, and is the only one in the world in view of it's population size. I came to Shenzhen 2 years ago and just to play safe I exchanged 20K cash RMB before leaving my home country. I put 19K in my bank account and 1K in my wallet. Now I still have 700+ in my wallet and all the transactions during this period were all direct through my bank account via my mobile phone. I'm so used to it and it happened twice when I visit car wash during my home visit, I was embarrassed by just bring my mobile phone to the car wash and have no cash to pay.
