NEW DELHI: In what will be the first instance of an anti-pollution law for a specific region in the country, the Centre on Monday informed the Supreme Court that it was drafting a comprehensive legislation to set up a statutory body empowered to take steps to prevent stubble burning in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh as also implement measures to reduce air pollution in the National Capital Territory (NCR) and adjoining areas.

新德里：周一，印度中央政府通知最高法院，中央正在起草一项综合性法律，拟建立一个机构，授权该机构采取措施，禁止旁遮普、哈里亚纳邦和北方邦的农民焚烧秸秆，同时还将采取措施，减少国家首都地区(NCR)和邻近地区的空气污染。这将是印度某一特定地区的首个反污染法律。

Why can't we try out disposal of paddy stubbles by converting it into papers or other material? There has to be some ideal way of converting into Animal fodder or so.

We should give a scientific management solutions by going deeply why farmers are burning it . Simple solution is available but nobody is adopting . Straw can be used differently useful byproducts like fodder , construction works , Vermiculture , bio fertilizer Compost etc etc
