No, India is not progressing fast .The main reason China progressed was because it valued meritocracy ,India will continue to lag behind as long as it doesn't get rid of corruption and bribery .
Many will say it's because of the system fault .But the problem isn't in the system ,the problem is in the people . Indians ,Pakistanis or Bengalis tend to value religion and cultural values over innovation
