WASHINGTON: A $25 million largesse to Pakistan for promoting de ocracy and gender studies, among other foreign aid items tucked into a 5000-page spending bill that also contains the $900 billion Covid-19 stimulus package, has triggered outrage among Americans seething at what they see as Congressional indifference to their suffering from the pandemic.

Regular USA citizen had very little idea or knowledge about the exorbitant amount of dollar USA donates to rogue nations like Pakistan. I am living in USA for past 15 years and have spoken personally to many Americans about this issue. The Americans seemed to be ignoring that as until the economy was superficially appeared to be running smoothly. But after the Covid crisis, they are slowly understanding the truth.
