Go ape! Ingenious monkeys use power line as a zip wire to whizz between buildings in India

This is the moment a group of clever monkeys used an electricity line as a zip wire - with one brave primate even sliding down backwards.

Two monkeys were filmed taking a ride on the wire running between buildings in Udaipur, India, on Tuesday.

In the hilarious clip they show off their impressive balancing skills as they ride down from the roof of a multi-storey building, even turning around while sliding.

The group of primates can be seen sitting on the roof of a tall building contemplating how to make it across to the other side.
