NEW DELHI: A Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot was killed after an MiG 21 Bison aircraft on Wednesday crashed while taking off in central India.

新德里：周三，一架米格-21“野牛”战机在印度中部起飞时坠毁，一名印度空军飞行员遇难。

The aircraft crashed while taking off for a combat training mission at an airbase in central India.

该战机在印度中部一个空军基地执行战斗训练任务，起飞时坠毁。

"The IAF lost Group Captain A Gupta in the tragic accident. IAF expresses deep condolences and stands firmly with the family members," IAF said on Twitter

印度空军在推特上表示：“印度空军这次悲惨的事故，失去了上尉古普塔。印度空军对遇难者家属表示深切哀悼，并坚定地与他们站在一起。”

A court of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident.

I urge the Govt to stop using MIG 21 as we have lost enough lives in it already. If we have scarcity of aircrafts and it is taking time for replenishment, use sine nukes to deter the enemy instead of risking our pilots lives. The situation can not be acceptable to any Indian.
