NEW DELHI: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday accused the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) of humiliating her after a brief meeting with PM Modi over the devastation caused by Cyclone Yaas took a controversial turn.

新德里：周六，西孟加拉邦首席部长玛玛塔·班纳吉指责总理办公室羞辱了她。此前，她与莫迪总理就气旋“亚斯”造成的破坏进行了简短会谈，而这次会谈引发了争议。

The central government as well as several senior ministers had accused Mamata of skip the meeting and making PM Modi wait.

Addressing the controversy, Mamata said she felt insulted since BJP leaders and the state governor were called for the cyclone review meeting which was meant to be between her and the Prime Minister.

玛玛塔在谈到这一争议时表示，自从人民党领导人和邦长被召集召开飓气旋评估会议以来，她感觉受到了侮辱，而这次会议本来应是她和总理之间的会议。

"When we reached, meeting had started. They asked us to sit, I asked them to allow us a minute to submit the report. (The) SPG told us that meeting will be after 1 hour. I saw empty chairs in conference room; was told that meeting was between CM and PM but why were there other BJP leaders," the Trinamool chief asked.

她问道：“当我们到达时，会议已经开始了。他们让我们坐下，我让他们给我们一分钟时间提交报告。SPG告诉我们，会议将在1小时后举行。我看到会议室里有椅子空着，被告知这是首席部长和总理之间的会议，但为什么其他人民党领导人也在场。”

Mamata further said that she is ready to even touch PM Modi's feet for the welfare of the people but won't tolerate insults.

How can Mamta decide that no minister or official will sit in meeting. It is very customary that PM is assisted by his officials and ministers. Mamta behaviour is against constitution of India. Someday Govt may have to use powers to sack her.
