Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated the Kushinagar international airport. It is an initiative to connect Buddhist pilgrimage sites around the world and facilitate the travel of pilgrims to the final resting place of Lord Buddha. PM Modi says Kushinagar international airport will boost connectivity and tourism.
