Electricity suffers power loss during transmission, that is true for all kinds of power generators including fossil fuel or coals. It is caused by the voltage differential during transmission, not the type of generator. So how much is the power loss? It is hard to tell. But since China's electric powerline infrastructures are relatively new, and mainly use UHVDC. Would be ridiculous if the Chinese purposely segmented its own power lines into many parts with different medium and voltages for no reason. It has to be a single type medium and size spanning across provinces. If the latter is the case, then the power loss should be at a minimum.

Solar power is CHEAPER and electric vehicles are soon to be CHEAPER to make and already are considerably CHEAPER to maintain and operate, especially if charged from your own solar power.

Combining solar farms and sheep grazing pasture in the same area could massively increase land productivity, a study has found. ... Also lamb grazing alleviates the need to manage plant growth under the solar panels through herbicides or regular mowing, which require extra labour and costs.

Note : Plants growth well under solar panels because they use water to clean the panels regularly
