The Longest Coastal Expressway in India is Being Built in Mumbai

印度最长的沿海高速公路正在修建中，位于孟买

Mumbai Coastal Road. Mumbai, the financial capital of India, with a population of more than 20 million people is plagued with traffic jams. The Coastal Road is being built primarily to relieve traffic congestion between South Mumbai and the Western Suburbs. It is an under-construction 8-lane, 29.8 kilometres long expressway, which would run along Mumbai's western coastline, linking Marine Lines in the south to Kandivali in the north. The Coastal Road is expected to be used by 130,000 vehicles every day and will reduce travel time between South Mumbai and the Western Suburbs from 2 hours to just 40 minutes.

The Central Government Road projects are national highways that run from one state to another. This coastal road project is established in the inner part of Mumbai city.
