印度最高法院就空气污染加剧一事谴责德里政府：要求在24小时内提出控制污染的措施

The Supreme Court directed the Centre and Delhi government to come out with suggestions to control pollution within 24 hours. The apex court warned it will have to do something extraordinary if they failed to control pollution. A special bench headed by Chief Justice N V Ramana said it expected serious action. "We think that nothing is happening as the pollution level is increasing. We think that we are wasting our time... We are giving you 24 hours. We want you to take a hard look at this and come up with a solution with seriousness," said the bench.

印度最高法院要求中央政府和德里政府在24小时内提出控制污染的措施。最高法院警告说，如果不能控制污染，将不得不采取一些不同寻常的措施。

由首席大法官拉马纳领导的一个特别法庭表示，预计将采取严厉行动。法官表示：“我们认为，污染程度不断上升，但政府什么也没有做。我们是在浪费时间。给你们24小时，希望你们认真考虑这个问题，并提出解决方案。”

SC has been giving ultimatum since last few years. Tell me something new. All the decisions made be it by Delhi or Central govt has been a knee jerk reaction. They just want to be seen as if they are working on it.

Apart from EV introduction and promotion, I don't see a long term step taken in this regard.

Let the farmers stop the burning of stubble. Instead collect the stubble for bio fuels and pay the farmers for handing over the stubble instead of burning. That will tackle the overall pollution problem and also the bio fuel produced can be sold at a cheaper price.
