Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday chaired a parliamentary party meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre on Janpath Road in New Delhi during which lawmakers were asked to regularly attend Parliament sessions. In a strong warning to his party MPs, Modi said, “Apne aap mein parivartan laiye, warna parivartan apna aap aajata hai,” which translates into: “Change yourself or there will be changes.”

No offence but the Prime Minister himself is not regularly attending the Parliament and I have never seen the Prime Minister participating in the proceedings of both houses of Parliament. So the honorable Prime Minister must improve his track record first.

Prime minister's main role is of executive branch other than legislative. But MP's have only one role ie to legislate. Still they are not able to do one job properly

@Rahul Vasa Agreed. No complaints of PM on his executive role as he is doing good till now on that front. But he has certain duty towards the legislature which he is not doing. He has to attend the parliamentary sessions. I am not saying sit the whole day but he should be atleast present during question hour and should answer questions addressed to him.
