Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a veiled attack at the previous Congress government during a bank deposit insurance event in Delhi. PM Modi highlighted Congress ‘inaction’ to resolve problems of bank depositors. Modi claimed today’s ‘New India focuses on resolving the problems, not delaying their resolution.’ PM said his government’s ‘Depositors First’ programme reflects their priority towards the people.
