Oldest person in China dies at 135

中国最长寿老人去世，享年135岁

China's oldest person, Alimihan Seyiti, has died at the age of 135 in injiang Uygur Autonomous Region, local authorities said on Saturday.

周六，中国最长寿的老人阿丽米罕·色依提在新 疆去世，享年135岁

Hailing from Komuxerik township of Shule County in Kashgar Prefecture, Seyiti was born on June 25, 1886, according to the county's publicity department.

据喀什地区疏勒县宣传部介绍，色依提出生于1886年6月25日，来自喀什地区疏勒县。

In 2013, she topped the list of China's oldest living persons issued by the China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, formerly known as the Gerontological Society of China, the state-run inhua news agency reported.

据新华社报道，2013年，她荣登中国老年病学和老年医学协会（前身为中国老年学学会）发布的中国最长寿老人排行榜榜首

China has ancient civilization tracks -- like India --- It has taken care to protect the aged .... medical care - monthly advanced age subsidy - etc. are noteworthy features..... that enable the advanced age groups to live happily -- here the oldies are mostly left to fend for themselves --- resourceful regular post-retirement pension receiving lots are small % of such old age groups.....

China GDP is 5 times more than that of ours..... As a nation our top priority should be to get out of the lower-income group nation tag.... which is possible only our dirty politics is duly reformed..... as we are neither a vibrant de ocracy (manipulations exploits to win polls by hook or crook here)..... nor an economic power house.........? Long long way to go....?
