Scary moment when a wild elephant chased and mauled man in Assam’s Dhubri

在阿萨姆邦杜布里，一头野象追赶一名男子并将其踩成重伤

Scary visuals of a wild elephant chasing and attacking a 30-year-old man in Assam’s Dhubri district caught on camera by locals. The severely injured man was rushed to the hospital after incident while the wild elephant was chased to the jungle area.  Incident took place on December 18th.

阿萨姆邦杜布里区，一头野象追赶并攻击一名30岁男子，可怕的画面被当地人拍了下来。事件发生后，这名受重伤的男子被紧急送往医院，而这头野象则被赶到了丛林地区。事件发生在12月18日。

If he continued to run he wouldve been most probably safe and the elephant would've given up chasing, but sadly the guy tripped over something and fell. Bad luck.

People are so rude and heartless than animal sometimes..I saw so maany people use elephant like machine...they use elephant to pull very big and heavy firewood from steep jungle to road and beat them without mercy.. sometimes we got the price..no doubts

Because elephants are such social animals I wonder why the elephant sought him out?  It puzzles me, unless maybe the man did something to provoke the elephant.

But if it came down to picking who I could trust more, I'd pick the elephant!

Also bear grylls told that in such scenario when elephant is chasing you, try to run in zigzag manner by hiding behind trees , elephant,s eye sights are weak , chances are you will get out from their line of sight.

My maternal uncle was attacked by wild elephants three times.. but he knew how to deal with situation so he came out unhurt everytime.

But ironically he was killed by an injured maneater tiger recently.
