A lot of these CEOs have come out of the IITs where 800k students write an exam for about 4k seats. Only the best make it and it takes an incredible amount of innate intelligence and dedication to beat those many competitors. At the same time, many students experience burnout and depression due to the same competitive pressure.

And as you pointed out, many of these CEOs have also done higher education in top grad schools in the US which makes them very highly qualified.

All these CEO's are beneficiaries of Hindu caste system. They belong to the dominant castes in India, who have huge stacks of capital accumulated at the expense of millions of other backward castes and imposing untouchability on others. If those backward caste who were denied opportunities had just enough capital and competed, they would've had their own businesses and these CEO dudes would be working for companies in India.
