Pilot killed as one more MiG-21 Bison goes down during training sortie in Jaisalmer

印度又一架米格-21“野牛”战机坠毁，飞行员遇难，当时在杰伊瑟尔梅尔进行突击训练

A MiG-21 Bison of the Indian Air Force crashed in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on Friday evening. The IAF informed that the Mig-21 aircraft went down at around 8:30 pm on Friday. The IAF conveyed the sad demise of pilot Wing Commander Harshit Sinha in the accident.

周五晚上，印度空军一架米格-21“野牛”战机在拉贾斯坦邦的杰伊瑟尔梅尔坠毁。印度空军通报称，这架米格-21于周五晚上8:30左右坠毁。印度空军宣布了飞行员中校Harshit Sinha在事故中不幸遇难的消息。

Honestly speaking feel sorry for the families of the pilots lost there lives specially in the last 15 yrs because mig21 bison was planned to be retired from IAF around 2010 to 2012 initially but it is already delayed by more then 10 yrs

I think IAF should retire all mig 21 bison immediately because pilot  life's are much more important to safe guard    these mig 21 are knows as flying coffins all around the world for more then a decade now I think the govt should think about it seriously

Shame on this. Recently government announced scrappage policy for automobile. Actually this scrappage policy required for Indian defence sector especially Mig 21 fighter jets.

This mess of old bisons is due to incompetent government since 2000 Air force has been asking for a replacement of 1960 mig bisons. Both Congress and BJP, congress the most corrupt are responsible for this. I can't imagine how the family of the pilot must be feeling
