The world’s largest and most powerful space telescope rocketed away Saturday on a historic mission. NASA's James Webb Space Telescope was lifted by an Ariane rocket from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana. The telescope has left Earth on its mission to show the first stars to light up the Universe.
