New 25km cross-sea bridge opens to traffic in east China

中国东部25公里跨海大桥通车

A new cross-sea bridge officially opened to traffic in east China's Zhejiang Province on Wednesday, with the 25-kilometer-long structure hel to greatly boost transportation and connectivity for potentially hundreds of thousands of residents. The bridge is one of the longest structures of its kind in the world, connecting the islands of Zhoushan and Daishan in the East China Sea. Automatic equipment was deployed during its construction which greatly saved on labor force in the building process.

周三，中国东部浙江省一座新的跨海大桥正式通车，这座25公里长的大桥极大地促进交通运输，方便数十万居民的出行。这座桥是世界上最长的桥梁之一，连接着中国东海的舟山和岱山两岛。在施工过程中采用了自动化设备，大大节省了施工过程中的劳动力。
