PM Modi's heartwarming gesture: 100 jute footwear sent to Kashi Vishwanath Temple workers

莫迪总理的暖心举动：给黄金庙的工作人员送去100双黄麻鞋

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent 100 pair of jute footwear for those working at Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi. He recently found that most people working at Kashi Vishwanath Dham performed their duty bare-footed because it is forbidden to wear footwear made with Leather or rubber in the temple premises. These include priests, people performing seva, security guards, sanitation workers and others.  Government sources said that Modi immediately got 100 pairs of jute footwear procured and sent over to Kashi Vishwanath Dham so that those performing their duties don’t have to stay bare-footed in the chilling cold.

印度总理纳伦德拉·莫迪为在瓦拉纳西黄金庙工作的人员送去了100双黄麻鞋。他最近发现，黄金庙的大多数工作人员是赤脚工作的，寺庙禁止穿皮革或橡胶制成的鞋子。这些工作人员包括牧师、进行祈祷仪式的人、保安、清洁人员等。政府消息人士称，莫迪立即采购了100双黄麻鞋，送到黄金庙，这样他们就不用在寒冷的天气里光着脚工作了。

Whatever chappals are not allowed inside the temples, not here in south india . We need to wash our feet before entering temples. Certain temples don’t allow men entry with shirt / banian on , they need to be bare chested . Temples are supposed to be energy centre were bodies absorb these energy. Women use silk saree & silver gold jewellery to temples with same purpose . And women / men dont cover their heads either .
