PM interacts with startups from different sectors, underlines positive impact on economic growth. In a symbolic boost, PM announced that January 16 will be celebrated as National Startup Day. PM encourages startups to make it to the global stage - 'let's innovate for India, innovate from India'. 6th year of Modi government's flagship initiative, Startup India. In 2016, PM launched Startup India initiative to help build an ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship.
