A Bihar minister's son was roughed up after he allegedly opened fire to chase away children playing. In a viral video, Bablu Kumar was seen being thrashed by a group of villagers, who also snatched away his gun. Kumar was attacked at Haradiya Koeri Tola village in West Champaran district on Sunday. Bablu Kumar’s father Narayan Prasad is a BJP leader and the state minister for tourism. Police said Kumar was accompanied by uncle Harendra Prasad, manager Vijay and other associates. They claimed they went to the spot upon learning about an ‘encroachment’ on an orchard.
