30 years of India-Israel diplomatic ties: Watch PM Modi, Naftali Bennett's congratulatory messages

India and Israel celebrated 30 years of establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries with prime ministers of both countries releasing video messages to greet each other. In his video message, PM Modi recalled the centuries-old connection between Indian society and Jewish people. He said that the cooperation between two nations has increased and pitched for achieving new milestone in this regard. Israeli PM Naftali Bennett in his message praised the India-Israel friendship. Several monuments in India and Israel were lit up to mark the 30 years of diplomatic ties between the two sides.

Within 7 years of establishing full diplomatic relationship Israel stood by India in spite of US pressure and help in delivering smart bombs that was a major factor in securing the heights and decimating the enemy bunkers .A true friendship had begun
