First-ever goods train reaches Manipur after 75 years; 'North-east transformation,' says PM Modi

独立75年后，首列货运列车抵达曼尼普尔邦，莫迪总理称“东北转型”

In a boost to rail connectivity in North East, Manipur has got its first-ever good train post independence. The freight train arrived at the Rani Gaidinliu station in the north-eastern state on January 27, days after a passenger train from Silchar in Assam reached the Bongaichungpao railway station in Manipur, where assembly polls will be held in two phases on February 27 and March 3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this will enhance the state's commerce and connectivity as goods from there will reach all parts of the country.

为了提升东北地区的铁路交通，曼尼普尔邦在独立后首次迎来了货运列车。

1月27日，这列货运列车抵达了曼尼普尔邦的Rani Gaidinliu火车站。

几天前，一列来自阿萨姆邦锡尔查尔的客运列车抵达了曼尼普尔邦的Bonaichunpao火车站。

曼尼普尔邦的议会选举将分2月27日和3月3日两个阶段举行。

莫迪总理表示，货运列车将促进该邦的经济发展，加强互联互通，以后该邦的商品可以运往全国各地。
