After facing criticism from the West and questions on India’s stand over the Russia-Ukraine crisis, Russia has now praised India. Russian chargé d'affaires Roman Babushkin said that the Vladimir Putin government welcomes India’s unbiased stand on the situation in Ukraine. “India, as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, is playing the vital role of a responsible global power, and has adopted an independent and balanced approach to global affairs”, he said.

在面对西方的批评，以及对印度在俄乌危机中的立场的质疑后，俄罗斯这次赞扬了印度。

俄罗斯代办 Roman Babushkin说，普京政府欢迎印度在乌克兰局势上的公正立场。
