Lao Men Dong is the core of southern Naning. Like intiandi in Shanghai, it is one of the city's most successful urban restoration projects. On the ground floor of former residential buildings, you will find lots of tea houses, local venders, design shops, folk artists, boutique hotels, bars, international restaurants and old former residences of celebrities. They even have a free 3d light show:projection on part of the Naning city wall, which we couldn't see because we were there in the afternoon.Naning trip was one of the best trips I have had in China

老门东是南京城南的核心。和上海的新天地一样，也是南京最成功的城市修复项目之一。在旧民居建筑的一楼，你会发现很多茶馆、当地小贩、设计商店、民间艺人、精品酒店、酒吧、国际餐厅和名人故居。他们甚至有免费的3D灯光秀，投影在部分城墙上，我们没看到，我们是下午去的。南京之旅是我在中国最棒的旅行之一

beautiful city! So neat and clean and roads nicely laid out. The old town was really really gorgeous! Inspite of being an old town, the lanes and bylanes have been maintained so so well! It must be a pleasure to walk around this place all day!
