Jaishankar flagged how in March, Europe bought 15% more oil & gas from Russia than it did the month before. The minister defended India’s decision to obtain 'good deals' for energy supplies amid volatility in the world markets.

we just see our top priority is our national interest everything else is secondary. For now Russia's policy regarding oil favours India, that's why we should definitely purchase from them, but if in later times USA produces its own oil and remove sanctions from Iran and Venezuela then we should see from which nation purchasing oil will be cheaper and of top quality.
