HYDERABAD: Is Hyderabad better? Or Bengaluru? Telangana IT minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao and Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar were involved in a friendly banter on Monday as to which city is the best in terms of infrastructure, IT, innovation and growth factor amid growing religious intolerance in Karnataka over at issues.

Also, the nearest airport is three kms away in peak traffic.” He even tagged PM Narendra Modi and Karnataka BJP.

Responding to his tweet, KTR invited Naresh to set up his firm in Hyderabad. “Pack your bags & move to Hyderabad! We have better physical infrastructure & equally good social infrastructure. Our airport is 1 of the best & getting in & out of city is a breeze More importantly our Govt’s focus is on 3 i Mantra; innovation, infrastructure & inclusive growth (sic),” he tweeted.

Having lived and worked both in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, I can confidently say that Hyderabad infrastructure is way better than Bengaluru's. Water problem is common to both cities. However, icing on cake is Bengaluru's excellent climate and it's cosmopolitan nature. That is why, even though there is poor infrastructure, worse traffic and BBMP, companies are still coming to Bengaluru.

What does infrastructure has to do with religion? So it is India's interest that both the cities compete healthily for the tag of best software hub and Unicorn hub of India. And it is in Corporates interest to set up offices in both the cities so as to collaborate more effectively.

Depends on what you are looking for. Free space, very comfortable working, wide roads, clean Hitech colonies, basic infra facilities are better in Hyderabad than in Bangalore. No restriction social gatherings, pubs and such type modern evils are yet to take roots in Hyderabad.

Roads in Hyderabad are no good. Once you cross out from the center's freeways, and jump on to state/local roads, you get your body thoroughly mauled with good pot holes and the dust. Of course old city is a ghetto.
