Taking a look at China's GDP data and here suggesting a worsening economy as swee covid-19 curbs and Russia-Ukraine war take toll on economic activity. China's growth has slowed in March a bit however GDP estimates were better than expectations.

4.8% is not low for an 18T economy but a little low for China. The first quarter GDP is 4.25T which is bigger than Germany…In China's current situation, GDP in the first quarter was the lowest in their four quarters, accounting for only 21.7% of the economy in the whole year.
