I suspect that water flow will the the tip point in this conflict. As both countries need massive amounts of water to support their populations, access to water will become the catalyst. Initially, India will likely appear to have the upper hand, but longer term, depending who's in power in PRC, they may end up being the losers. As with most politics today, it's all-or-nothing... and sadly, compromise and cooperation is seen as a loss.

The problem is obviously that India is stubborn is refusing to surrender its land to China. Either invest in its own military build-up more and join the US alliance, or surrender to China. Trying to fight against a Great Power like China by yourself is kinda stupid.

In the Galwan conflict, India is the VILLAIN feigning a sense of hurt innocence in the border conflict with China today. Yet we pretend to be the good guys fighting against evil forces!
