China sets world record in long-distance quantum state transmission

Chinese scientists have made record-breaking progress in realizing quantum state transmission between two ground stations over 1,200 kilometers apart via a quantum scientific experiment satellite. In the experiment, six typical quantum states were transmitted and verified, and the transmission fidelity surpassed the classical limit.

中国科学家通过量子科学实验卫星在相距1200公里的两个地面站之间实现量子态传输，取得了创纪录的进展。在实验中，对六种典型的量子态进行了传输和验证，传输保真度超过了经典极限。

从中国科学技术大学获悉，该校利用“墨子号”量子科学实验卫星，近期首次实现了地球上相距1200公里两个地面站之间的量子态远程传输，向构建全球化量子信息处理和量子通信网络迈出重要一步。
