Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said providing maxmum facilities to those guarding India's borders is the top priority of the government. Citing China's aggressive border infrastructure, Rajnath said that the Border Roads Organisation must use latest tech for ensuring speedy development of the border areas. The defence minister also lauded the BRO for improving infrastructure in the border regions of the country. Underlining the importance of roads, bridges, and tunnels in the progress of the nation, Singh said the projects completed by the BRO have enhanced the operational preparedness of the Armed Forces and improved the socio-economic conditions of the people living in far-flung areas.

印度国防部长拉杰纳特·辛格周六表示，为守卫印度边界的人员提供最大限度的设施是印度政府的首要任务。

拉杰纳特谈到中国修建边境基础设施时表示，边境道路组织应当使用最新技术，确保边境地区的快速建设。

For a brief period Shri Arun Jaitley took over Defence Ministry. He also did say we are providing more funds to curb illegal or cross border terrorism.

Finally, November 2014 came and we'd the most capable Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar. He really provided everything to BRO. His tenure was limited but after him again Shri Arun Jaitley took over for a brief period. Then we had the most incompetent Defence Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. She may be good as a Finance Minister but she wasn't able to hold Defence.

Come 2019 Rajnath Singh earlier Home Minister took over and he is doing the same mistake.
