In a world first, China delivered a 100,000-tonne smart aquaculture vessel on Friday in Qingdao City, east China's Shandong Province. The fish farm vessel named Guoxn-1 has a displacement of 130,000 tonnes, large enough to survive typhoons, and able to handle 3,700 tonnes of fish annually.

Since it's on the ship it will be moving, also the ship for the most part be in deep water, unlike modern day farm which is shallow water and in one place which builds up polluting sediments and bacteria.

I think even in such a farm there is no way without antibiotics, but probably much less. Food is most certainly processed(feeding was shown in the video shortly)...

I commend Chinese trying to innovate but I have my doubt on this idea, First why not do Large sea cage and pull them using boat?? With large boat there would be a need to paint all the boat surface, Why bother?? Anyway we will know whether this idea is good one, I could be wrong but I most likely right

What's the cost of mobile fish farm? It may cost more with fuel cost compare to stationary fish farm. But Im sure it will be more healthy since the fish is not in stagnant water.

3 other fish farming ship was already in construction and the two will be delivered in 2023 and the other one will be delivered in 2024. This new fish farming ship will stationed in East china shandong province.
