MUMBAI: A senior executive of a housing finance firm ended up paying Rs 2.06 lakh in a case of sextortion after he received a call from a man claiming to be a cop from Delhi Cyber Crime Cell who demanded money to protect him from arrest for uploading his nude videos on social media.

孟买：在一起性勒索案件中，一家住房金融公司的一名高管最终支付了20.6万卢比，此前他接到了一名自称是德里网络犯罪小组警察的男子的电话，该男子称因他在社交媒体上上传了自己的裸体视频，只要他交钱就不逮捕他。

The Bandra police registered an FIR against an unidentified person. The caller had identified himself as Delhi cop Vikram Rathod repeatedly threatened and demanded more money after extorting Rs2.06 lakh for not getting him arrested.

班德拉警方对一个身份不明的人进行了立案调查。打电话的人自称是德里警察维克拉姆·拉索德，在勒索20.6万卢比后，多次威胁并要求给他更多的钱。

The 57-year-old Bandra (West) resident said he got a WhatsApp message on June 11 which read “interested in video sex”. He replied ‘Yes’ and soon got a video call from a woman who asked him to undress. He agreed and soon he started receiving calls, threatening to inform his sister and family members about his nude video.

这名57岁的西部班德拉居民说，他在6月11日收到了一条WhatsApp消息，上面写着“对裸聊感兴趣”。他回答说“是的”，很快就接到了一名女子的视频电话，要求他脱掉衣服。他同意了，很快他就开始接到电话，威胁要把他裸聊的事告诉他的妹妹和家人。

The caller, according to the complainant, asked him to undress after entering the bathroom. “He said the woman had no clothes on but her face was not visible in the video call. Immediately, the call got disconnected. Seconds later, the man got another call from a woman who said she had recorded his sex video and threatened to make it viral on social media if he does not pay Rs 81,000,” said an officer from Bandra police station.

据原告说，打来视频的人要求在进入浴室后脱掉衣服。他说，这名女子没有穿衣服，但在视频通话中看不到她的脸。通话马上就断了。几秒钟后，这名男子又接到一名女子的电话，称她录下了他的裸体视频，并威胁说，如果他不交8.1万卢比，就把视频传到社交媒体上并大量转发。”

Two days later, the person who said he was from Delhi Cyber Crime called the man and threatened to frame him in a case, and said if he wanted to avoid it was asked to contact one Ranvir Gupta to delete the videos.

两天后，自称来自德里网络犯罪中心的人打电话给这名男子，威胁要告他，并表示如果他不想的话，就请联系古普塔删除视频。

The man called Gupta and was asked to pay Rs 51,500. Later was asked to pay Rs 51,500 again and Rs 1.03 lakh for the multiple videos running on different social media links.

这名男子打电话给古普塔，被要求支付51500卢比。后来又被要求为在不同的社交媒体链接上上传的多个视频支付5.15万卢比和10.3万卢比。

The police said the man lodged a complaint when the fraudster started demanding more money.

警方表示，当诈骗犯开始索要更多的钱时，该男子便报案了。
