 In a bid to ease US inflation, President Joe Biden has said that he is planning to meet his Chinese counterpart . Biden is also considering lifting tariffs that were earlier imposed on Beiing.

It's US call to lift the sanctions which themselves have imposed on China goods previously. China should not give in to any demands by US in returm. Similar to sanctions, these tariffs are merely hitting on US citizen cost of living.

For decades now China has enjoyed almost no- to low tariffs between their trade with the US.  Doesn't that mean that the US ends up collecting almost no taxes at all from Chinese exports coming into the US?

Basically incentivizing a major competitor to flood your domestic market with cheaply made goods and collecting very little tax in return and killing your own domestic manufacturing capability  in the process.  Keep the tariffs!
