I'm 100% sure that you've heard of the term China speed. Typically when people talk about 'China Speed,' what they mean is that in China things go extremely fast, lightning fast and they give you examples, I do too, about a city like Shenzhen that has been built in 40 years from a fishing village to 20 million people in a beautiful city.

He didn't say India will catch up with China. Read his comment again. India will never be able to catch up with China. Not even in a hundred years. India is so far far way way behind China. Their caste system, culture, heterogeneity with many races, languages and religions and de ocracy will not propel them forward. China is more homogeneous, with one unifying language, 93% one race, Han Chinese, no multitudes of religion, one culture, no caste system.

The key difference is there is always an officer being responsible for a project in China. If something goes wrong. He is the one to bear the blame and get sacked. He is also the one takes most credit if project being successful.

In electoral country, nobody real takes responsibility, yet everyone fighting for any credit.
