China has only about 10 percent of Sri Lanka's total debt. The rest of the 90 percent is from Japan, IMF, WHO, and other western financial institutions.

Chinese debt is so much different than Western Debt.

China infrastructure still there to be used by Sri Lanka. Western Debt on the other hand Nothing gets built. They still owe money.
