Aid is falling short in flood-devastated Pakistan, leaving an estimated 5 million people at risk of water-borne diseases after record floods displaced residents across the country and killed more than 1,200 people. China on Saturday pledged another 300 million yuan (about $43.5 million) worth of aid to Pakistan after donating 100 million yuan (around $14.5 million) in emergency relief supplies last week.
