You said China built more ships in 2019 than the US built in WW2, WRONG!  The US built more than 4000 war ships in WW2.  China has built only about 150 mostly small ships since 2015 to about 360 total fleet, they want to control only around south China sea, they still lack in gross tonnage and do not want a shooting match with the US, just remember even in our decline we are full of surprises militarily.
