India launches stealth warship Taragiri; Major 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' boost for Naval might

印度隐形护卫舰“塔拉吉里”号下水，印度海军实力大幅提升

Warship ‘Taragiri’ - the fifth stealth frigate of Indian Navy's Project 17A has been launched in Mumbai. The event was limited to a technical launch due to state mourning on Queen’s death. The keel of Taragiri was laid in September 2020 and is expected to be delivered by August 2025. The launch of made-in-India Taragiri’s is another boost to 'aatmanirbharta' in defence. A total of seven Nilgiri-Class frigates are being constructed under Project 17A. The lead ship of the class, INS Nilgiri, was launched in Mumbai in September 2019.

印度海军17A项目下的第五艘隐形护卫舰“塔拉吉里”号在孟买下水。由于英国举国哀悼女王逝世，此次活动仅限于技术性下水。“塔拉吉里”号龙骨于2020年9月铺设，预计2025年8月交付。印度制造“塔拉吉里”号的下水是对国防“自力更生”的又一次推动。在17A项目下总共建造了七艘尼尔吉里级护卫舰。该级的首舰“尼尔吉里”号于2019年9月在孟买下水。
