A massive fire has engulfed a skyscraper in the Chinese city of Changsha. The fire has been put out now but no casualties have been reported yet.

4 years ago a towering inferno of similar fashion occurred in London. It was the Grenfell Tower. Investigations revealed the outer cladding of the Tower was made of flammable material. The Changsha Building towering inferno displayed very similar characteristics.

Just like everything that is officially reported in China - ‘no casualties’ seems very unlikely. It can take weeks for rescue crews to search all those unstable floors to look for bodies.
