India has launched its indigenously developed 5G infrastructure and is ready to share it with other countries as well, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said during her interaction with students at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She said the 5G that India has launched country is completely standalone.

This is truly a great achievement and a proud moment. But 4G is still to reach many parts of India. I am using a jio connection and most of the times i dont even get a reception in my area and i am only 10kms away from town. I think it's a little early for 5G.
