In many way it already it. Take money, a good 90% of Chinese do not carry cash or credit anymore, the just bring their smart phone to pay using digital money. In US digital money usage is less than 1%.

On transportation China's high speed rail covers closed to 130 thousand miles, US has one line less than 100 miles uncompleted after 20 years. Today China high speed rail is more than the entire world put together.

Yes it will be. It has always been for the last 4900 years. Even at its weakest I.e. 120 years ago, during the Qing dynasty, it was still 30% of the global economy.

It is a culture, proven time and again to be able to flourish. It was the workshop of the world, producing silk, porcelain, carpentry, handicraft and tea. It had the most advanced technologies before the Industrial Age. Many of the ideas are still being used today. It flourished based on the principles of agricultural industry and trade. Today, it is back on the roll as the manufacturing hub of the world.
