Pointless. China is building out Photonic chips manufacturing plants that are 1,000 times faster than current semiconductors, even at 2 nm’s. That’s the future, not current exsting chips that the US is spending hundreds of billions on. Photonic chips will speed up AI and machine learning as well as data centers and military weapons.
