Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan joined Rahul Gandhi for Congress party’s Bharat Jodo Yatra said that the next year will be difficult for Indian economy & also for the rest of the world. He added that India failed to generate reforms needed for growth.

Raghuram Rajan easily got away after overseeing so many loans which have become NPAs today.. Was there no oversight of the RBI at all, that people like Mallaya and Nirav Modi kept getting loans after loans... If it was a politician, it is understandable, but being the Governor of RBI, it was his duty to ensure all banks were to be adhering to the rules.

One thing they are right about is export ban. However, the problem is if we allow exports especially in years where certain crops (onions etc) have less yield , there is going to be inflation. That is political suicide.
